Sublime Tendulkar powers India to victory
Sachin Tendulkar fell within tantalising distance of a first match-winning century in a run chase since July 2001 , but India weren't to be denied as they romped to a six-wicket victory [with 21 balls remaining] that wrapped up the series with a match to spare.
Pakistan likely to call up additional wicketkeeper
Kamran Akmal's continuing descent behind the stumps has forced the Pakistan team management to call for another wicketkeeper to boost their squad for the remainder of the current tour against India.
Karthik's cool hundred wins it for the Blues
It was a statement of sorts from Dinesh Karthik. Left out of the Indian squad to play the series against Pakistan on Saturday after a string of indifferent one-day scores.
Ponting calls for calm from Australian fans
Ricky Ponting has asked Australian fans to forget about the racism row that simmered during the recent ODI series when India visit Australia later this year.
Gambhir and Uthappa have matured - Dhoni

Toss India chose to field v Australia
Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss on a wet morning at Kochi and put Australia in to bat. Sick Michael Clarke defies the odds
Australia's decision to travel with a team doctor for the first time in 20 years paid off immediately as a stomach bug floored Michael Clarke in the hours leading up to his century on Saturday. Clarke reportedly woke at 1am on the morning of the match severely ill and only an intense course of medication allowed him to play.
Brad Haddin happy to have a hit
October 1 : Brad Haddin has spent plenty of time as a spectator this year so he was simply pleased to get a decent hit in Australia's opening ODI against India on Saturday. Australia fight back after Sreesanth triggers slide
An outstanding spell of fast bowling from Sreesanth gave India the edge in the opening match of the Future Cup against Australia. Having decided to bat on a hard pitch with just a smattering of grass, Australia lost wickets at crucial junctures as they reached 130 for 4 midway through the innings. Michael Clarke, who has fond memories of this venue after making a century on Test debut, was leading the resistance, with Australia undoubtedly missing the experience and class of Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey.

September 29 : Adam Gilchrist, standing in for Ricky Ponting, won the toss and had little hesitation in batting first on a Chinnaswamy stadium pitch that was the colour of beach sand. 'I am not under any pressure' - Mahendra Singh Dhoni
From being run out for a first-ball duck on his international debut against Bangladesh to being crowned the No.1 one-day batsman in the world last year, to a woeful run of form to the ODI captaincy now, it seems Mahendra Singh Dhoni has come a full circle.
